About The Position

Performs a variety of technical tasks and provides site support. Modifies, moves, and installs a range of new equipment. Troubleshoots a variety of hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues. Performs a variety of integrity testing and interviews customers to gather information about problems. Prepares and presents a variety of incident/performance reports to the customer and to the service delivery manager. Provides advice and a variety of onsite training for customer support personnel. May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals. May serve as a team or task leader. (Not a people manager) Analyzes, maintains, and modifies telecommunications systems to meet operational standards. Monitors the operations of telecommunications systems and services of vendors. Conducts studies regarding telecommunication systems usage and recommends changes as appropriate. Plans and coordinates all moves and installation of telecommunications equipment. Tests, adjusts, and troubleshoots complex hardware equipment as necessary. Maintains records and prepares complex reports relevant to the operation of the telecommunications systems.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of related experience
  • CompTIA Security Plus required
  • US Citizenship Required: Yes
  • Secret Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Secret
  • Secret Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: Secret
