About The Position
On behalf of VetJobs/MilitarySpouseJobs, we are assisting our partnering company, Alpha Scanlon, with this position. It is open to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers. Alpha Scanlon has over 30 years of experience supporting telecom and IT systems throughout the region, including municipalities, businesses, and commercial clients.
Requirements
- 3+ years of telecom, IT, low-voltage, or related field experience preferred
- Strong hands-on installation abilities
- Professional, dependable, and self-motivated
- Reliable vehicle required (mileage reimbursed at the national rate)
Responsibilities
- Install and service VoIP/telecom systems (hosted and premise-based)
- Data / low voltage cabling (Cat5/6, fiber, testing, terminations)
- Surveillance and access control installation/support
- Network equipment setup, physical installation, and troubleshooting
- Paging, emergency communication, and door phone systems
