  • Must have reliable transportation and have the ability to travel.
  • Must wear proper attire at all times including safety vests, safety glasses when appropriate, long pants, safety toed work boots, and reflect a clean and presentable image.
  • Any combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge and abilities listed qualifies.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervises the telecom crews.
  • Read and understand project plans and specification.
  • Reports on work to Senior Project Manager.
  • Knowledge and/or experience on all types of heavy equipment to ensure safe use of equipment and training.
  • Knowledgeable in the areas of telecom utility, including excavation, directional boring, cable plowing, aerial specifications and splicing.
  • Inspects work sites throughout construction process to ensure the quality and accuracy of work for potential hazards or safety concerns.
  • Monitors crews for organizational structure, sizing, crew mix ratios, and wage compliance in conjunction with Superintendent.
  • Complete required reports (production, personnel time and attendance, vehicle, safety, inspection) on a daily/weekly basis as required.
  • Monitor operations to ensure that health and safety standards are met.
