About The Position
Beacon Radiology is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Radiologists to join its fully remote tele-radiology team supporting hospital partners across New Jersey. The position is open to U.S.-based radiologists who can live anywhere in the United States and offers either a full-time or per diem arrangement. The role provides remote interpretations across hospital-based cases, with particular interest in expertise in Diagnostic Radiology, Neuroradiology, MSK, Mammography, Pediatric Radiology, Cardiac Imaging, and Nuclear Radiology. Beacon Radiology describes its practice as focused on quality, responsiveness, and physician support. The cost of an active New Jersey medical license is covered for radiologists who make a two-year commitment. Full-time compensation includes $50 per wRVU for personally performed weekday diagnostic radiology services, a wRVU bonus for more than 10,000 wRVUs, and weekend coverage rates of $4,900 per 8-hour shift or $6,700 per 11-hour shift. Partial weekend coverage is paid at $610 per hour when the full 8-hour or 11-hour shift is not worked. Full-time compensation is subject to applicable modifiers and Beacon Radiology policies. Per diem coverage is paid at $350 per hour for scheduled shifts not classified as full-time assignments.
Requirements
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Active, unrestricted New Jersey medical license.
- Ability to provide high-quality remote interpretations independently.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in a tele-radiology environment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior tele-radiology experience is preferred.
- Expertise in Neuroradiology, MSK, Mammography, Pediatric Radiology, Cardiac Imaging, or Nuclear Radiology is of particular interest.
Responsibilities
- Perform remote diagnostic radiology interpretations in accordance with current standards of care.
- Deliver accurate and timely interpretations while meeting turnaround expectations.
- Collaborate professionally with referring clinicians, hospital partners, and internal leadership.
- Comply with medical staff bylaws, hospital requirements, and Beacon Radiology standards.
- Maintain licensure, board status, certifications, and CME requirements.
- Support quality-driven patient care through reliable, consistent remote coverage.
