About The Position

The Teen Development Professional at the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows works with teens on activities such as art projects, sports, fitness, and field trips, helping them develop skills, build confidence, and make friends. The role involves creating a safe and engaging environment, planning and leading activities, serving as a positive role model and mentor, and taking youth on field trips to explore the community and experience new things. The position is part-time, with schedules intended to be consistent. Typical hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years old.
Be able to communicate and cooperate with children, other staff, and parents.
Provide three references. If the applicant has work experience, references should be professional; otherwise, they may be non-family members over 18 who can speak to the applicant's character and professionalism.
Complete a drug screen for illegal substances, a background check, and a fingerprint check.
