About The Position

Oversee and facilitate the delivery of programs and activities within the teen programs, encompassing the Formula For Impact priority outcomes of academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles. This role also involves recruitment responsibilities for the teen programs.

Requirements

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Some experience in working with children, preferably school-aged children.
Basic knowledge of youth development.
Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior challenges.
Demonstrate customer service skills.
Ability to plan and implement programs/activities for youth.
Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment.
Must complete CPR and First Aid certification when offered.
Valid Missouri State Driver’s License, if operating Club vehicles.

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or GED, preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan and oversee the administration of designated teen programs and activities supporting the Formula For Impact priority outcomes.
Coordinate the use of facilities for teens, including gym and outdoor areas.
Visit schools for games and other recreational settings for teen recruitment.
Organize meaningful field trips for teens.
Plan and organize teen special events.
Continuously evaluate teen programs, reporting results to the Program Director and addressing gender or cultural needs of members.
Collect data and prepare regular reports for programs, funding sources, and projects like Meth Smarts, Smart Moves, and Passport to Manhood.
Oversee proper teen record keeping, including daily attendance, program participation, achievements, and issues.
Participate in special programs and/or events.
Meet and communicate with classroom teachers regarding member needs/accomplishments.
Maintain a high standard of customer service with members, parents, volunteers, other staff, and the public.
Assume other duties as assigned.
