About The Position

Spark Academy is a co-ed, residential treatment program specializing in autism and neurodiversity. We offer a year-round, project-based learning curriculum in a co-teacher classroom that fosters confidence, creativity, and a love for learning. As an accredited special education school, we provide individualized support to help students thrive academically and personally-with students coming first and curriculum coming second. The Technology Teacher will provide engaging, hands-on technology instruction in a co-taught, project-based learning environment while supporting students with varying special education needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creativity, problem-solving, and thinking outside the box. Rather than teaching to high-stakes standardized tests, you'll have the freedom to make technology meaningful and practical through projects that encourage curiosity, collaboration, and real-world skills. You'll have the opportunity to build strong relationships with students, help them discover their strengths, and make learning something they genuinely enjoy.
