We are hiring a full time Technology Systems Administrator to ensure the stability, security, and efficient performance of the technology systems that support our Life Plan Community. This role manages servers, networks, cloud services, and cybersecurity tools, while providing advanced technical support to staff and residents. The Systems Administrator helps protect sensitive data, supports clinical and operational applications, and contributes to a dependable technology environment that enhances resident care and organizational effectiveness. The start date is May 4, 2026.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field, preferred.
  • Three or more years of experience in systems or network administration.
  • Strong knowledge of systems and network software, hardware, and networking protocols.
  • Proficient with data backup and recovery systems.
  • Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, and data encryption.
  • Strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Hands on knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, virtualization, networking, and cybersecurity.
  • Excellent communication, resident relations, organizational skills, customer service orientation, trouble shooting, and leadership ability.
  • Ability to work independently with initiative and as a collaborative and supportive member of a team.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Warm and personable image, demonstrating the ability to connect effectively with the senior population across diverse functional abilities.

  • Physical Requirements include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, walking long distances, ability to lift 35 pounds at times, balance, climb, crouch, pull, push, reach, stand and stoop, adequate dexterity in hands to grasp and manipulate small objects.

Responsibilities

  • Administers and maintains Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, and virtualization platforms.
  • Monitors system performance, apply patches and updates, and ensures proper configuration and lifecycle management.
  • Supports storage solutions, application servers, and hosted cloud based services used across all levels of care.
  • Assists with managing network infrastructure including switches, Wi Fi, routing, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
  • Monitors network health, responds to performance issues, and helps implement planned upgrades and improvements.
  • Maintains accurate documentation including diagrams, inventories, and configuration standards.
  • Monitors alerts from EDR, SIEM, firewalls, and other security platforms; supports incident investigation and remediation.
  • Assists with configuration hardening, identity and access management, and adherence to security frameworks relevant to senior living and healthcare.
  • Supports vulnerability management, logging, and ongoing risk assessments.
  • Provides Tier 2/3 support for escalated issues and system outages with timely, user friendly resolution.
  • Troubleshoots hardware, software, networking, and security issues impacting employee or resident technology.
  • Collaborates with clinical and operational departments to maintain application reliability.
  • Manages and tests backups, recovery, and business continuity processes to ensure data integrity and uptime.
  • Supports proactive planning for incidents, outages, and recovery scenarios.
  • Works with the Director of Technology on IT projects, system enhancements, and infrastructure planning.
  • Maintains system documentation, procedures, inventories, and change records.
  • Provides staff training on technology tools, cybersecurity best practices, and new system features.
  • Performs any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as needed basis by an authorized supervisor in a cooperative manner.
  • Maintains confidentiality and respect for residents and employee privacy.
