About The Position

BBH is seeking aspiring Software Developers or Systems Business Analysts for its 10-week internship program. This program offers a pathway to real-world finance, global markets, and professional development. Interns will be fully immersed in BBH’s culture and business needs, working on meaningful projects in areas like investment management, operations, technology, and client services. The program includes mentorship from industry leaders, professional development through workshops and speaker series, and networking events. Interns will work in a collaborative environment, receive continuous feedback, and have an on-site presence to immerse themselves in the company culture. The Technology organization focuses on fulfilling the information and transaction processing needs of financial markets, utilizing proven technology to provide high-quality, cost-effective, and timely solutions. Interns will gain insight into the software development life cycle (SDLC), technology strategy (including data and AI), project management methodologies, business requirements discovery, and technical problem-solving. They will participate in design processes, technical specification documentation, development, and systems testing.

Requirements

Current Junior in College, entering senior year in fall of 2027.
Background in and passion for Computer Science or Information Technology.
GPA of 3.3 or higher.
Demonstrated leadership skills through academic and extracurricular activities.
Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal.
Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically, both independently and as part of a team.
Sound judgment and demonstrated ability to identify, escalate and resolve a problem.
Ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple deadlines.
Intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint - Comfortable using common formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, IF), building basic charts, and creating/manipulating pivot tables for simple analysis.
Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Technology design, Agile development and Programming skills (e.g. Java, SQL).

Nice To Haves

Experience or interest in working with large quantities of information for analysis.

Involve in design process and technical specification documentation which may include data modeling, dataflow diagramming, screen design, workflow analysis, etc.
Participate in development process and systems testing, and exposure to development and automation tools.
