The Technology Strategy & Roadmap Architect provides leadership in initiating, planning, coordinating, and executing engineering activities for Enterprise Management products and services. This role oversees Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) and Enterprise Monitoring support, utilizing best-of-breed industry processes and tools to ensure consistency and quality. The Architect is responsible for all technical performance and serves as the primary point of contact for technical matters related to Enterprise Management Services within the Contractor PMO.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Demonstrated specialized experience with implementing, engineering, architecting, designing, or operating Enterprise Management technologies with an emphasis in DoW capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience leading the design and implementation of complex enterprise management IT solutions on a large program ($50M+ total contract value).
  • Demonstrated leadership experience serving as chief architect, chief engineer, functional manager, or team lead for a minimum of 5 years.
  • Demonstrated specialized experience with implementing, engineering, architecting, and designing ITSM platforms (e.g. ServiceNow or BMC Remedy) for an enterprise of > 5,000 users.
  • Demonstrated experience modernizing complex enterprise management systems.
  • Demonstrated experience presenting briefings to senior customer management and customer stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, or higher, in Computer Science, Communications, Engineering, or IT-related discipline; or, equivalent four (4) years’ experience in IT engineering.
  • Certified ITIL v3 foundation and CompTIA Security+.

Nice To Haves

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
  • Demonstrated experience in enterprise management design, engineering, and operations with emphasis on NGA capabilities.
  • Demonstrated five or more years of experience supporting an IC or DoW agency in adopting and transitioning systems and services to cloud environments, including hybrid cloud environments.
  • Demonstrated specialized experience applying ICD 503 or DCID 6/3 requirements to secure information Systems.
  • Demonstrated five or more years of experience working with NGA or IC ITE engineering working groups.
  • An active Top Secret clearance is required, must be willing to obtain SCI and polygraph.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering expertise and guidance for the design, development, implementation, operations, and sustainment of Enterprise Management Services to enhance system performance and availability.
  • Lead the research, analysis, solution design, and implementation planning for modernizing existing Enterprise Management solutions.
  • Drive strategic technical innovation, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of complex Enterprise Management Services operations.
  • Provide technical knowledge and analysis for high-level functional systems, design, and integration advice on complex matters requiring expert-level subject matter knowledge for effective implementation.
