About The Position

Resound Credit Union is seeking a full-time Technology Specialist to join their growing team. This position is located at their Nashville location. Resound Credit Union has seven locations serving over 45,000 members and was founded in 1955 with a philosophy of 'people helping people'. Requirements

  • A working knowledge of networking technologies and desktop systems and applications including the Microsoft Office suite of products is required.
  • The duties of the position can be physically demanding and require the lifting of computer hardware and other IT related products, which are often bulky and heavy.
  • Good manual dexterity is needed to work with equipment and keyboards.
  • The ability to endure long hours is required, specifically during projects.
  • This position requires a person who is detail-oriented and dependable in both performance and attendance.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills are needed.
  • Must be able to function as a multi-skilled member of a diverse team of IT professionals, as well as with less technically savvy end-users.
  • A valid driver's license is required, as a company car is often used in this position to deliver supplies and/or equipment to the branch locations.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years information technology experience or training is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years college education is also preferred.
  • Training with Windows O/S is also preferred.
  • Prefer experience with Symitar Episys software and/or IBM AIX operating system.
  • This individual must be willing to commit to ongoing training for skill enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide internal technical support and consultation for employees in all credit union applications.
  • Provide assistance and support for all hardware and software installations and upgrades including Windows desktop support.
  • Assist with maintaining systems documentation according to applicable policies and standards.
  • Assist with coordination of IT resources including the core system, telecommunications network, telephone system, and PC connectivity.
  • Work with vendors as requested.
  • Perform daily operations tasks, including batch processing, and other duties.
  • Assist with special projects, during period-end processing, and other times as needed.
  • Maintain key fob access control system and security camera system.
  • Perform other duties as required.
