About The Position

The Technology Services Operations & Enablement Coordinator shall serve The Navigators and fulfill the responsibilities listed below in the spirit of The Navigators calling, values and purpose: To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost. This role supports the Technology Services department by providing high-level administrative coordination across all Technology Services teams while advancing technology enablement, internal communications, and knowledge management initiatives that multiply departmental impact.

Requirements

  • Belief in and adherence to the Statement of Faith and Mission of The Navigators.
  • At least two years of experience in administrative support, operations coordination, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical or complex information into accessible language for diverse audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a nonprofit, ministry, or mission-driven organization.
  • Experience with SharePoint site management and content creation.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and digital collaboration platforms at a user level.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Technology Services department and its managers, including scheduling department events and meetings, invoicing and financial transfers, budget monitoring, inbox management, research and project support, policy upkeep, and inventory management.
  • Process accounts payable, purchase orders, and vendor invoicing; coordinate hardware and software procurement in partnership with the Service Desk to ensure equipment selections comply with organizational standards.
  • Submit expense reports as needed due the 15th of each month; submit time worked on a weekly basis through the Workday Time Tracking system.
  • Manage the NavOffice Store admin website to ensure updated content and accurate product/service information.
  • Maintain departmental records, distribution lists, shared resources on SharePoint, and organizational charts.
  • Support onboarding logistics for new Technology Services staff, including equipment provisioning, system access, and orientation scheduling.
  • Perform quality assurance tests on Technology Services delivered products and services, participating in maintaining a 95% customer satisfaction rating.
  • Provide administrative support to Technology Services leadership and managers as needed, including calendar coordination and meeting preparation.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute team life events including all-hands meetings, team celebrations, social engagements, and staff connectedness activities for the full Technology Services department.
  • Promote relational growth amongst Technology Services teams and within The Navigators; serve as the culture champion ensuring distributed and field-adjacent staff feel included and valued.
  • Manage the internal communications calendar for the department (birthdays, milestones, team news, spiritual encouragement).
  • Curate and maintain the technology services communications site and broader technology resources on SharePoint, including the prompt library, onboarding content, tool guides, and best practice documentation for Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and other approved tools.
  • Serve as a first-line resource for Navigator staff exploring new technology tools and AI assistants, answering basic questions and triaging advanced requests to appropriate Technology Services team members.
  • Assist in developing training materials, walkthrough videos, FAQ sheets, and help content for new technology rollouts and tool adoption across the organization.
  • Track and report on technology adoption metrics across departments; provide quarterly summaries to TS leadership.
  • Participate in providing technology training to users and in evangelizing centralized technology services across the organization.
  • Draft, edit, and publish staff-facing communications about technology changes, new tools, policy updates, and best practices across SharePoint, Teams, and email channels.
  • Translate technical concepts into accessible, approachable language for non-technical audiences across The Navigators’ domestic and international staff.
  • Maintain and update the Technology Services section of the SharePoint intranet, ensuring content accuracy and clear navigation.
  • Support change management efforts by creating adoption-focused content for new system rollouts.
  • Participate in Navigators’ on-site learning and development events, Cultural Development and Diversity trainings, or other non-Navigator developmental events as appropriate.
  • Participate in annual processes, such as the organizational Plan and Progress Review (PPR), Engagement Survey, Reaffirmation of the Navigators Code of Conduct, Calling-Core Values-Vision, Statement of Faith, Driver’s Authorization, and other releases as required.
  • Submit time worked on a weekly basis through the Workday Time Tracking system.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
