About The Position

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Technology Sales Executive to join our team. This role involves building relationships, creating new business opportunities, and helping clients solve business challenges through technology. The ideal candidate thrives on prospecting, networking, and developing long-term partnerships, and is energized by the opportunity to expand market presence and drive business growth. You will be comfortable working independently and managing your own pipeline from initial outreach through close. Success in this role requires a consultative sales approach focused on addressing business objectives, improving operational efficiency, reducing risk, and supporting security and compliance initiatives. You will excel at engaging stakeholders across all levels of an organization, including technical staff, department leaders, finance teams, and executive decision-makers. Your ability to build trust, uncover business needs, and communicate value will enable you to develop meaningful client relationships and influence purchasing decisions. You must be highly organized and self-motivated, effectively managing competing priorities while maintaining accurate CRM records, sales activity, pipeline forecasts, and follow-up plans. You are accountable, persistent, and committed to achieving sales goals while delivering an exceptional client experience and continuously expanding your industry and professional knowledge.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of successful outside B2B sales experience.
  • Proven ability to generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship-building activities.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and opportunities simultaneously.
  • Experience maintaining CRM systems and managing sales pipelines.
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of accountability, initiative, and professionalism.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling technology solutions, managed services, IT services, or related business services preferred.
  • Experience selling to AEC, Nonprofit, or GovCon organizations preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to generate new business and achieve revenue goals.
  • Identify and prospect organizations within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC), Nonprofit, and Government Contracting (GovCon) sectors.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities through networking, referrals, business associations, community involvement, and outbound prospecting.
  • Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective clients to identify business needs and technology challenges.
  • Deliver consultative sales presentations that demonstrate the value of managed IT services and technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical and service delivery teams to develop customized solutions and proposals.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing.
  • Build relationships across multiple levels of client organizations, including IT, operations, finance, and executive leadership.
  • Attend networking events, industry functions, and community business gatherings to expand brand awareness and develop new opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, activity tracking, and pipeline management.
  • Meet or exceed established sales goals, KPIs, and business development objectives.
