Start your Voyage – Apply Now Technology Recruiter Location: Windsor or Boston (Onsite 2 Days / Hybrid) Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and resourceful IT Recruiter to support Voya’s technology hiring needs across the enterprise. This role will focus on sourcing, talent research, and full-cycle recruitment for critical IT positions, including software engineering, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, data analytics, and technology procurement. The ideal candidate is a proactive recruiter with hands-on sourcing experience and a passion for connecting top technical talent with impactful opportunities.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in IT or technical recruiting, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Proven success sourcing and placing candidates in roles such as software development, Full Stack Engineers, DevOps, cloud engineering, cybersecurity, and IT procurement.
  • Proven experience in direct sourcing, including creating Boolean search strings and leveraging advanced sourcing techniques.
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms.
  • Strong understanding of technical skill sets and terminology.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting for financial services or insurance industry roles.
  • Familiarity with contract and contingent workforce management.
  • Knowledge of diversity sourcing strategies and inclusive hiring practices.
  • Comfort with sourcing automation tools and AI-driven recruiting technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand IT staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
  • Design and execute sourcing strategies leveraging Boolean search strings, Google X-Ray techniques, and LinkedIn Recruiter to identify passive and niche talent.
  • Conduct candidate market research and talent mapping to analyze competitor hiring trends, emerging skill sets, and geographic talent availability.
  • Source and attract top IT talent using a variety of channels including LinkedIn, job boards, networking, referrals, and specialized communities.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment: posting jobs, screening resumes, conducting interviews, coordinating feedback, and facilitating offers.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future IT openings.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Voya’s applicant tracking system (Workday).
  • Collaborate with external staffing agencies when needed, ensuring alignment with Voya’s vendor policies.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT recruiting.
