You’ll own project momentum, leading sprint planning, coordinating internal teams and external vendors, identifying risks, removing blockers, and keeping stakeholders aligned around priorities, timelines, and results. You’ll work closely with Technology leadership, developers, business leaders, vendors, and cross-functional teams on projects that support EIP’s continued investment in technology, automation, AI, and digital innovation.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in technology project management, project management, technology operations, project coordination, vendor management, or a related field.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile workflows, sprint planning, backlog management, user stories, acceptance criteria, and project/ticket management systems.
  • Experience working with developers, technology teams, vendors, or technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Confidence leading meetings and driving decisions across different levels of an organization.
  • Ability to identify risks early and develop practical solutions.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability with the ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, CSM, or similar project management certification is a plus, but not required.

  • Drive accountability and ensure action items do not stall between meetings.
  • Coordinate current and upcoming technology sprints with development teams and Technology leadership.
  • Facilitate discussions around priorities, scope, capacity, dependencies, and timelines.
  • Ensure upcoming work is development-ready with clear requirements, acceptance criteria, sizing, and ownership.
  • Identify at-risk work early and develop a plan to keep delivery moving.
  • Help resolve competing priorities and establish realistic expectations with stakeholders.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for technology vendors and external development partners.
  • Establish clear expectations around deliverables, deadlines, quality, and communication.
  • Monitor vendor performance and proactively address delays or gaps.
  • Hold partners accountable to agreed-upon commitments while maintaining productive relationships.
  • Identify project risks before they impact deadlines or deliverables.

  • Recommend adjustments to scope, sequencing, resources, or timelines when needed.
  • Escalate critical decisions strategically and early.
  • Provide clear, concise project updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Prepare recurring reporting on progress, milestones, risks, delays, and next steps.
  • Analyze missed or adjusted deadlines and recommend process improvements.
  • Translate technical project information into clear business updates for nontechnical stakeholders.
