About The Position

Hard Rock Digital is building a team focused on becoming the best online sportsbook, casino, and social gaming company in the world. We are looking for a Technology Project Manager who thrives in high-accountability environments, focusing on driving outcomes, building predictability, clearing paths for others, and ensuring security initiatives are delivered on time and with quality. This role involves working across security, engineering, infrastructure, compliance, legal, product, and operations to bring clarity, momentum, and delivery discipline without unnecessary bureaucracy. The position sits within the Technology Project Management function of the group-wide PMO, supporting a portfolio of information security projects and programs, including control implementation and remediation, PCI DSS and ISMS compliance, audit readiness, vendor security assessments, tooling and automation rollouts, and security awareness initiatives. Success will be measured by the ability to enhance predictability, remove friction, and keep complex security initiatives moving forward, proactively addressing risks and creating space for the security team to perform optimally.

  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience, with a track record of delivering security or compliance initiatives in fast-moving environments.
  • Working knowledge of information security concepts, frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST), and controls, including familiarity with PCI DSS compliance.
  • Strong foundations in project and program management (RAID management, dependency mapping, stakeholder management, planning, and scope control) across Agile, Waterfall, or Kanban methodologies.
  • Experience working with and influencing cross-functional technical teams.
  • Experience with project management and GRC tooling (e.g., Jira, Vanta).
  • Understanding of cloud security concepts and controls.
  • Experience and interest in applying AI-driven tools to modern project management, from workflow automation to smarter insights and reporting.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, ideally with exposure to techniques such as Lean, Six Sigma, or operational improvement frameworks.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and turn ambiguity into actionable plans.
  • A “get it done” mindset, always pushing for clarity and forward progress.
  • Ability to own the path to delivery and ensure teams can execute without friction.
  • Ability to work well in ambiguity and bring order without becoming bureaucratic.
  • High accountability and low ego.
  • Proactive in surfacing risks, options, and recommendations, and bringing solutions.
  • Ability to read a room, manage senior stakeholders, and influence without authority.
  • Clear communication in writing and in person, and ability to keep the right people informed in the right way.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving workplace, adapting quickly, embracing change, and making bold decisions when needed.

  • Create comprehensive project plans covering timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and dependencies for security and compliance workstreams.
  • Drive momentum across teams, ensuring cross-functional workstreams, auditors, and external vendor groups stay aligned, connected, and unblocked.
  • Ensure smooth delivery by raising issues early, proposing solutions quickly, and simplifying security complexity for the organization.
  • Deliver security solutions that meet regulatory obligations and align with industry best practices, including PCI DSS, ISMS, ISO 27001, and NIST.
  • Coordinate audit readiness, internal and external audits, vendor security assessments, and evidence requests well ahead of deadlines.
  • Enhance operational efficiency through the smart use of AI and automation to streamline reporting, tracking, and communication.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay and benefits.
  • Flexible vacation allowance.
  • A hybrid/remote working environment.
  • Startup culture backed by a secure, global brand.
