Armison Tech is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Project Engineer for an on-site client environment in Herndon, VA. This role is integral to an in-depth penetration testing effort supporting enterprise cyber security equities. The position requires specialization in penetration testing and ethical hacking to target, assess, and exploit information system vulnerabilities. The goal is to provide senior decision-making stakeholders with documented and actionable data for strategic decision-making. Requirements

  • Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing IT systems for cyber security vulnerabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in cyber security or a related IT field.
  • Demonstrated experience with cyber security penetration testing.
  • Experience leveraging adversarial tactics to conduct hands-on security testing.
  • Demonstrated experience applying computer attack methods and system exploitation techniques.
  • Working knowledge of cyber security principles for Linux, Windows, and virtual platforms.
  • Previous experience performing network security analysis.
  • Previous experience analyzing network architectures.
  • Experience using network management tools.
  • Experience developing risk management methodologies.
  • Experience testing or reviewing system configuration, development, and design (specifically around enterprise systems and hypervisors).
  • Experience analyzing test results to develop risk mitigation and threat mitigation plans.
  • Previous hands-on experience designing, testing, and implementing complex Windows installations.

Responsibilities

  • Support an in-depth penetration testing focused effort, in support of enterprise cyber security equities.
