About The Position

NIKE, Inc. is seeking a Technology Procurement Strategic Sourcing Manager in Beaverton, OR. This role involves negotiating favorable terms, volume discounts, and long-term contracts with suppliers. The manager will prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for goods, services, and supplies for customer-related business processes. A key aspect of this role is partnering with Global Technology teams, business teams, and other collaborators to ensure continuity of supply and competitive commercial terms for technology solutions (software, hardware, platforms, etc.) that power Nike's business. The position requires advising and supporting Nike's business leaders throughout the sourcing lifecycle, mastering and executing Nike's strategic sourcing process, measuring value captured, reporting performance, engaging legal and finance teams, and implementing sourcing initiatives using advanced sourcing and contract management tools. Proficiency in spend analysis, risk management, contracting, cost savings methodology, performance reporting, collaborator engagement, and strategic sourcing tools is essential. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Integrated Manufacturing Systems Engineering
• 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a technology-related occupation
• Strategic sourcing capability in technology
• Negotiation of commercial terms for deals in technology sector
• Supplier relationship management in technology sector
• Python
• Service level management with suppliers in technology sector
• Requirements and stakeholder management for complex technology contracts
• Operations and pipeline management of technology contracts

Responsibilities

• Negotiating favorable terms, volume discounts, and long-term contracts with suppliers.
• Preparing and processing requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies for customer-related business processes.
• Partnering with Global Technology teams, business teams, and other collaborators to drive continuity of supply and competitive commercial terms for technology solutions (software, hardware, platforms, etc.) used to power the business of Nike.
• Advising and supporting Nike's business leaders during all phases of the sourcing lifecycle.
• Mastering, communicating, and executing Nike's strategic sourcing process.
• Measuring value captured, reporting performance, engaging support from legal and finance teams, and implementing sourcing initiatives using a suite of advanced sourcing and contract management tools.
• Demonstrating structured sourcing acumen across the sourcing lifecycle, leveraging enterprise systems for intake management, contract execution and spend analytics.
