About The Position

Jeppesen ForeFlight is building a world-class Procurement organization to support our continued growth across the Commercial, Business, Military, and General Aviation sectors. Reporting to the VP of Procurement, the Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing will lead a team responsible for sourcing strategy and execution across our global purchasing categories, while also building out the operational backbone — processes, systems, and metrics — that allow Procurement to scale. This leader will bring broad, cross-category sourcing expertise and the ability to build and develop a high-performing team, while personally engaging at the negotiating table on our most strategic supplier relationships. SaaS represents a significant and growing share of our spend, and this role will own our approach to SaaS category management, renewal strategy, and vendor governance globally. This leader will also be a key cross-functional partner to Marketing, HR, and other business units, and will work closely with Legal and Privacy/InfoSec to help shape our contracting and review processes as our Procurement function continues to mature.

  • 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, with global sourcing experience spanning a broad range of purchasing categories
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing a team of sourcing or procurement professionals
  • Meaningful experience sourcing and managing SaaS/software contracts, including renewal strategy and lifecycle management at scale
  • Experience designing or improving sourcing processes, policies, and playbooks in a scaling organization
  • Demonstrated experience serving as a senior sourcing partner to cross-functional business units
  • Experience partnering with Legal and/or Privacy/InfoSec teams during contract negotiation and review

  • Experience building sourcing KPIs, dashboards, and reporting cadences for leadership
  • Experience operating in an organization where procurement, legal, and privacy/infosec processes are still maturing
  • Pilot or aviation enthusiast
