About The Position
Reporting to the Director, Technology Transfer, the Technology Management Officer is responsible for overseeing technology transfer and commercialization activities stemming from inventions developed at the University of Alberta and other post-secondary institutions (PSIs) in the Greater Edmonton Region. This pivotal role involves developing and implementing intellectual property strategies, negotiating legal agreements, and staying informed about the commercialization landscape to drive economic growth and societal benefit through innovation.
Requirements
- Must be available to work in person a minimum of 3 days per week.
