Summer 2027 Technology Intern
About The Position
The Summer 2027 Technology Intern will work on applying academic education to assigned tasks on real projects of all sizes and types from concept to completion of construction. Interns will receive on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced engineers to learn the basics of Revit drafting/modeling and audio/visual, voice/data, security/access control design for various facilities. This is a full-time internship position from mid-May to early August, with flexible scheduling options and a hybrid work model allowing up to 3 days from home. There are potential opportunities for part-time continuation after the summer based on performance and academic schedules.
Requirements
- Current student pursuing an ABET accredited bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT project management, architectural engineering, electrical engineering, or other consulting related degree.
- Desire to pursue a career in technology consulting, specifically in low voltage design.
- Ability to work full time (40 hours per week) from May through August 2027.
- Computer software knowledge or ability to learn, as appropriate (Revit, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Apply academic education to assigned tasks on real projects.
- Work on projects from concept to completion of construction.
- Learn the basics of Revit drafting/modeling.
- Learn audio/visual, voice/data, security/access control design for conference rooms, data centers, emergency response centers, etc.
