About The Position

Under the direction of the Director of I.T., Facilities, and Security, the Technology & Facilities Specialist is responsible for assigned duties as outlined below, including I.T.-related tasks and various facilities maintenance functions. The position provides support for the credit union’s technology systems, equipment, and facilities to help ensure efficient and effective daily operations.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school. Experience can be credited in lieu of education.
  • 2 years or more of related experience.
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Familiar with a range of software and hardware.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and sense of customer service.
  • Ability to operate basic hand or power tools.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Troubleshooting skills in a range of IT issues.
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel between credit union locations as required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative tasks regarding new user setup, including logins to various systems, alarm codes, access control fobs, and other access or items as needed.
  • Review and maintain security cameras and associated DVR systems.
  • Review, audit, and maintain alarm systems.
  • Review and maintain various monitoring and management of systems assigned.
  • Deploy and relocate equipment on an as-needed basis.
  • Provide user support by resolving trouble calls and submitted tickets for staff and members.
  • Perform facilities maintenance tasks as assigned or required.
  • Perform routine maintenance on various equipment throughout the organization.
  • Assist in ATM and other bank equipment troubleshooting and diagnosis.
  • Assist in maintaining and upgrading systems.
  • Escort and monitor vendors while performing work within the credit union.
  • Escort and provide dual controls for ATM Cash installation and transport.
