As a Technology Engineer within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position. Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years hands-on development experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE)
  • Experience with implementing Web Services, REST, MQ, and File based interfaces
  • Experience testing interfaces using tools like RFHUTIL, Postman, SOAPUI, and other testing tools
  • Experience working with multiple data formats (JSON, XML, EDI/X12, Fixed Length/COBOL,SWIFT)
  • Experience integrating with databases using ESQL, Java, Mapping Node, Database Nodes, and calling Stored Procedures
  • Experience working on multiple operating systems (Windows, Unix, Linux, Mainframe)
  • Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with peers, management, clients, and partners
  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills
  • University / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
  • Bachelors degree

  • IBM ITX, Connect Direct experience is an added advantage.
  • Experience in Ansible Tower/AWX is an added advantage

Responsibilities

  • Leverages technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build and maintain technology solutions.
  • Assists with selecting appropriate platforms, integrates and configures solutions.
  • Develops software components and hardware for new and emerging technology projects; aligns these with business strategies and objectives.
  • May provide consultation on common issues and best practices for junior staff.
  • Provides a systematic analysis on client requirements within the traceability framework and resolves any functional problems encountered.
  • Ensures quality of project deliverables while maintaining compliance with relevant standards and processes.
