About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Leader to drive the strategy, development, and transformation of Database Engineering. This role is responsible for leading a high-performing team and modernizing infrastructure platforms to support business growth, scalability, and operational excellence.

Requirements

10+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of management or leadership experience
10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, preferably within the financial services industry.
10+ years proven track record of leading global engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of senior engineers and technology specialists across database platforms.
Drive the adoption and use of AI.
Oversee the full lifecycle of commercial, open-source, and cloud-based infrastructure products.
Drive large-scale modernization and cloud transformation initiatives across global infrastructure platforms.
Deliver significant improvements in scalability, resilience, and operational efficiency.
Contribute to vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and third-party engagements.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and actively engage with external regulators.
Establish and maintain best practices for engineering excellence, reliability, and cost optimization.
Act as a hands-on executive leader, providing both strategic direction and technical oversight.
