Where a Technical Support Engineer (TSE) is assigned, the TDE looks for a total solution, calling on other technical expertise and supplier support. The TDE focuses on technical new business demand creation, liaises with local suppliers, updates them on activity, and holds regular design reviews. The TDE assists the Sales team and Branch Product Managers (BPMs) with technical support, while commercial and simple cross-referencing in BOMs is the responsibility of the local BPM and sales team. The TDE updates sales teams on new products and relevant total solution applications, and undertakes regular product trainings with suppliers.
