About The Position

The Technology, Data, and Operations Internship Program is a summer intern program designed to provide high-performing students with a strong foundation in technology and the financial services industry. Participants will develop leadership and technical skills by working on innovative projects and assignments within Enterprise Technology & Operations, gaining experience in areas such as Software Development, Cybersecurity, AI & Data, and Operations teams. The program aims to offer a holistic view of financial services, professional development, leadership training, executive exposure, and organizational/cultural awareness. The Technology, Data, and Operations team is responsible for developing and supporting the technology capabilities that serve Truist's clients.

Requirements

  • Interested in learning more about a career in financial services.
  • Working towards the completion of a BA/BS or advanced degree program at an accredited college or university.
  • Demonstrated strong academic performance.
  • Demonstrated leadership through on-campus involvement or work experience.
  • Demonstrated strong initiative, adaptability/flexibility, and growth mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written & verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a professional team environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Business-related degree or coursework preferred.
  • Technical Majors preferred: Computer Science/Engineering, Cybersecurity, Innovation, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, User Experience, Industrial Design, Architecture, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction or related field etc.
