About The Position

At Regions, the Intern works on department assignments while learning more about the financial services industry. Regions offers college internship opportunities within various departments. The Technology, Operations, Digital, and Data – Technology Intern will gain experience applying their technical and analytical skills through placement in one of the following potential areas: Technology-Software Engineering, Technology Operations & Enterprise Platforms, Cybersecurity.

Requirements

A college student who has interest in developing technical skills and gaining work experience
Ability to work 40 hours a week for 10 weeks
Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

College student pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree majoring in: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related degrees
Proficiency in programming languages
Exposure to cloud technologies and DevSecOps
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to quickly learn new technology
Proven dedication to excellence and achieving results
Preferred minimum 3.0 GPA
Graduation date between December 2027-May 2029

Responsibilities

Receives exposure to all basic functions of assigned group within the financial industry
Exposed to a wide range of tasks including research, administrative and correspondence work and attend meetings
Provides assistance in projects
Gains valuable insight within a variety of functions while strengthening core skills and knowledge needed to launch a successful career
