About The Position

We are looking for an analytical minded and customer service-oriented person to join our dynamic team. This position will be responsible for supporting a variety of applications used by the various departments that support student life. Applications the Technology Coordinator will be expected to support include, but are not limited to: Various Housing Management Software; Campus Groups; eRezlife management systems; Google Apps for Education; events management/calendar; automated voice and texting; web presentation platforms; and forms tools. Duties are also expected to include assisting with the various hardware located in the residence halls and college center, and serving as a liaison between functional managers and programmers/IT support. Our various offices are closely aligned and focused on creating an environment where students can have fun, learn and grow together, and develop a strong sense of community. We are part of the Enrollment and Student Success division which supports a student's entire collegiate experience from the point of admission through to graduation. We partner with students, faculty and staff to provide a network of opportunities and services that lead to student success. Collectively, the division of Enrollment and Student Success positively influences the health, safety and well-being of the student body. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/information technology/MIS ORAssociate's degree in computer science/information technology/MIS AND at least one year of relevant experience OR Bachelor's/Associate's in another field AND at least two years of relevant experience
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management abilities
  • Willingness and ability to work some evenings and weekends
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse population of students, faculty, and staff

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of related work experience
  • Professional background in higher education; student life related experience such as Housing, Orientation, Activities, and/or Greek life is ideal
  • Willingness and motivation to work collaboratively to establish a new position
  • Experience training/supporting end users
