About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Drone Operations Coordinator to join our team in Delek. In this role you will be responsible for the planning and executing drone operations in Delek’s refineries to enhance safety, efficiency, and data collection within our operations.

Requirements

• 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)
• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Two (2) or more years relevant industry experience (Required)
• Required Certifications/Licensures: (Licensed FAA part 107 pilot)
• Drone Operations Management
• Regulatory Compliance
• Safety and Risk Management
• Data Acquisition and Analysis
• Proven experience in managing drone operations, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
• Knowledge in refineries.
• Strong knowledge of drone technology, regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills with substantial technology implementation.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the drone fleet, including scheduling, maintenance, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of drone data into company workflows.
• Support mission planning, develop use cases & mission plans, perform data collection and assist in the processing of collected data.
• Identify opportunities to leverage drone technology to improve safety, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct remote flights in our refineries.
• Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local regulations related to drone operations in the oil and gas industry.
• Ensure that all drone operations are conducted in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Implement safety protocols and risk mitigation strategies to ensure safe drone operations.
• Conduct regular safety assessments and maintain incident reporting procedures.
• Oversee data collection, processing, and analysis using drone technology.
• Collaborate with data analysts to extract valuable insights from drone-captured data.
