About The Position

Weaver is seeking a Technology Consulting Supervisor to join our growing Advisory practice. This position supervises the execution of Technology Strategy and broader Consulting engagements by leading day-to-day project delivery, directing research and analysis, facilitating stakeholder interviews and working sessions, reviewing current-state processes and technology environments, and developing practical recommendations and executive-ready client deliverables. The Supervisor works with engagement leaders and multidisciplinary teams to help clients assess business and technology needs, improve governance and operations, develop strategic roadmaps, support transformation initiatives, and implement sustainable solutions. The role also supervises and coaches team members, manages assigned engagement activities, and helps ensure work is completed within established scope, quality, budget, and timeline expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in management consulting, technology consulting, business analysis, project management, process improvement, information technology, digital transformation, risk management, cybersecurity, data and analytics, or a related field
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, research, and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex information, exercise sound judgment, and develop clear, supportable conclusions
  • Ability to lead the gathering and documentation of business and technology requirements, processes, risks, issues, decisions, recommendations, and implementation considerations
  • Strong verbal communication, active listening, facilitation, presentation, and professional writing skills, including the ability to lead interviews and working sessions and communicate effectively with client management
  • Ability to prepare and review concise, accurate, logically organized, and visually effective client deliverables for technical, operational, and executive audiences
  • Working knowledge of technology strategy, IT governance, operating models, digital transformation, business process improvement, project delivery, change management, data governance, cybersecurity, risk management, and technology-enabled operations
  • Working knowledge of assessment and consulting approaches, including current-state analysis, gap analysis, maturity assessment, benchmarking, root-cause analysis, future-state design, prioritization, roadmap development, business-case development, and implementation planning
  • Working knowledge of information technology controls, including security administration, program change management, program development, computer operations, and related governance and risk considerations
  • Ability to apply relevant frameworks, methodologies, and standards such as PMI PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Six Sigma, TOGAF, COBIT, NIST, ISO, and ITIL based on engagement objectives and client needs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information, build and review structured workpapers, and apply technology, financial, operational, and performance analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and workstreams of varying size and complexity within established scope, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations
  • Ability to supervise and develop team members, delegate effectively, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams across industries and client environments
  • Self-motivated work ethic incorporating sound judgment, accountability, adaptability, initiative, and integrity in the professional environment

  • Holder or candidate of a CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, PMP, or other relevant certification
  • Prior experience supervising staff or workstreams
  • Familiarity with project management, workflow, data, reporting, enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management, and service management platforms such as Jira, ServiceNow, Microsoft Project, Power BI, Alteryx, Snowflake, NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics 365, Salesforce, DealCloud, and similar business applications

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day execution of Technology Strategy and Consulting engagements involving technology planning, IT governance, operating model design, digital transformation, process improvement, project and program management, organizational assessments, resilience, risk management, data and AI governance, system implementation, and related advisory services
  • Translate engagement objectives into practical workplans, information requests, interview and workshop schedules, analytical procedures, deliverable outlines, staffing assignments, milestone trackers, and quality-review activities
  • Lead or facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, surveys, document reviews, research, data collection, and analysis; synthesize evidence into clear observations, conclusions, and recommendations
  • Direct and review documentation of current-state business processes, technology environments, governance practices, roles and responsibilities, systems, data flows, risks, issues, dependencies, and improvement opportunities
  • Analyze complex business and technology needs, identify gaps and root causes, evaluate alternatives, and develop practical recommendations aligned with client objectives, risk tolerances, resources, and operating constraints
  • Plan and perform organizational, operational, technology, governance, risk, maturity, readiness, and capability assessments using appropriate consulting methodologies, industry frameworks, benchmarks, and leading practices
  • Develop future-state operating models, governance structures, decision rights, policies, procedures, process designs, performance measures, strategic initiatives, business cases, and implementation roadmaps
  • Advise clients on technology roadmaps, investment prioritization, application and vendor rationalization, IT service management, third-party management, technology cost optimization, and transformation planning
  • Manage project and program activities, including project plans, budgets, milestone trackers, risk and issue logs, action-item registers, dependency maps, status reports, dashboards, governance materials, and executive communications
  • Lead business process improvement and redesign efforts by identifying bottlenecks, redundancies, control gaps, manual workarounds, automation opportunities, and improvements to efficiency, accountability, service delivery, and stakeholder experience
  • Support or lead technology selection and implementation activities, including requirements gathering, business systems reviews, vendor evaluations, implementation planning, testing coordination, change management, training, and post-implementation review
  • Perform and review qualitative and quantitative analysis using interviews, surveys, operational data, financial information, benchmarks, and other evidence to support defensible engagement conclusions and recommendations
  • Prepare and review clear, accurate, and executive-ready deliverables, including assessment reports, presentations, roadmaps, process maps, operating models, implementation plans, decision materials, and supporting workpapers
  • Communicate complex business and technology concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders and present engagement status, findings, recommendations, and implementation considerations with appropriate support from engagement leadership
  • Serve as a day-to-day client contact for assigned workstreams, build productive stakeholder relationships, anticipate information needs, resolve routine delivery issues, and escalate significant risks, scope changes, or client concerns promptly
  • Supervise, coach, and develop Associates and other team members by assigning work, setting expectations, monitoring progress, reviewing workpapers and deliverables, providing timely feedback, and promoting consistent application of Firm methodologies and quality standards
  • Manage assigned engagement scope, budgets, deadlines, staffing, and competing priorities; monitor performance against plan and communicate progress, variances, dependencies, and potential issues to engagement leadership
  • Contribute to practice and business development through proposal preparation, scoping and estimating support, market and industry research, development of methodologies and templates, knowledge sharing, thought leadership, professional networking, and internal initiatives
  • Adhere to the Firm’s policies, procedures, and core values and demonstrate their importance in interactions with clients and team members
  • In carrying out professional responsibilities, be familiar with and adhere to applicable ethical requirements of the AICPA, state accountancy boards, and professional societies for which licenses or certifications are held
