About The Position

Weaver is seeking a Technology Consulting Associate to join their growing Advisory practice. This position supports the execution of Technology Strategy and broader Consulting engagements by conducting research and analysis, documenting current-state processes and technology environments, supporting stakeholder interviews and working sessions, and developing practical recommendations and client deliverables. The Associate works with engagement teams to help clients assess business and technology needs, improve governance and operations, develop strategic roadmaps, support transformation initiatives, and implement sustainable solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 0-2+ years of experience in management consulting, technology consulting, business analysis, project management, process improvement, information technology, digital transformation, risk management, cybersecurity, data and analytics, or a related field
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, research, and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to organize complex information and develop clear conclusions
  • Ability to gather and document business and technology requirements, processes, risks, issues, decisions, recommendations, and implementation considerations
  • Strong verbal communication, active listening, facilitation, note-taking, presentation, and professional writing skills
  • Ability to prepare concise, accurate, and visually organized client deliverables for both technical and executive audiences
  • Basic understanding of technology strategy, IT governance, operating models, digital transformation, business process improvement, project delivery, change management, data governance, cybersecurity, risk management, and technology-enabled operations
  • Basic understanding of assessment and consulting approaches, including current-state analysis, gap analysis, maturity assessment, benchmarking, root-cause analysis, future-state design, prioritization, roadmap development, and implementation planning
  • Basic understanding of information technology controls including security administration, program change management, program development, and computer operations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information, build structured workpapers, and apply basic technology, financial, operational, and performance analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments of varying size and complexity within established timelines and budgets
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and adapt to different industries, client environments, and engagement objectives
  • Self-motivated work ethic to incorporating sound judgment, accountability, adaptability, and integrity in the professional environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, consistency, confidentiality, and client service
  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn emerging technologies, business models, industry trends, and consulting methodologies
  • Ability to travel and work at client locations as engagement needs require

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Familiarity with relevant frameworks, methodologies, and standards such as PMI PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Six Sigma, TOGAF, COBIT, NIST, ISO, and ITIL
  • Familiarity with project management, workflow, data, reporting, enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management, and service management platforms such as Jira, ServiceNow, Microsoft Project, Power BI, Alteryx, Snowflake, NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics 365, Salesforce, DealCloud, and similar business applications
  • Holder/candidate of a CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, or other relevant certification
