About The Position

The Technology & Business Intelligence Analyst – Corporate Security serves as a key partner between the Security Operations Center (SOC), Corporate Security, and leadership teams, driving operational effectiveness through data analytics, security technology optimization, and business intelligence reporting. This role develops automated workflows, dashboards, and actionable insights that enhance security operations, risk monitoring, and enterprise decision-making. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical capabilities with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of experience in a SOC, public safety dispatch, security technology, business intelligence, data analytics, or related technical environment preferred.
  • Experience developing dashboards, automated workflows, and reports using Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint workflows, Tableau, or similar analytics and reporting tools.
  • Understanding of physical security technologies and monitoring platforms, including video management systems, alarm monitoring, access control, and related security systems
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to support evolving security technologies, process improvements, and emerging automation solutions

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, Public Safety, or a related field preferred.
  • experience with Genetec Security Desk or CCURE is a plus.
  • exposure to scripting or programming languages such as Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated reporting workflows, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions to support SOC operations, security metrics, and leadership reporting.
  • Analyze security alerts, incidents, operational trends, and system performance data to identify anomalies, improve response effectiveness, and drive process improvements.
  • Partner with SOC and Physical Security teams to enhance security technologies, monitoring capabilities, automation workflows, and operational procedures across enterprise security systems.
  • Conduct technical audits, testing, troubleshooting, and minor system enhancements for security and life-safety technologies including cameras, alarms, access control, intercoms, and related platforms.
  • Support security projects, risk intelligence initiatives, and technology integrations by providing technical analysis, equipment recommendations, and operational insight.
  • Lead recurring discussions and collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and leadership to communicate trends, system performance, and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with training and knowledge-sharing initiatives related to security technologies, monitoring systems, and operational best practices.
