About The Position

Protiviti is looking for a Technology Audit & Advisory Senior Manager to join our growing team. As a Senior Manager, you’ll partner with our clients to manage risk associated with their use of technology. You'll develop strategies to solve complex business problems using new ways of thinking, and devise solutions to support your clients' needs through analytics, automation or the latest tools and methods. You’ll develop lasting relationships with client personnel and further these relationships through quality product delivery. You’ll foster a network within the business community and serve as an ambassador of Protiviti in the market. You will also be a mentor and provide performance development to teams as you oversee the successful completion of project work plans. Consultants in Technology Audit & Advisory work with clients to assess, identify risk, advise, and consult on different technology-related topics, including: Cybersecurity Cloud Assurance Project Risk Advisory Technology Risk Management and Assessment IT General Controls (ITGC) AI and Data Governance Data Privacy Technology Regulations Enterprise Applications Technology Resilience IT Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance Emerging Technologies 2nd Line Controls Governance Technology Enablement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or business-related field.)
  • 7+ years working in technology audit, consulting, assurance services, risk and control programs, or related field, either in professional services or industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications.
  • Demonstrated experience with leading teams in implementing IT audit methodologies and developing necessary audit deliverables, including process flows, work programs, audit reports, and control summaries.
  • Demonstrated experience with commonly used internal control frameworks, including COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS, ITIL, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience with Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions and methodologies for achieving compliance, in particular the technology implications and requirements.
  • Passion for the latest trends and developments in data and technology, including high-growth topics of cybersecurity, cloud, data governance, privacy, analytics, enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics etc.), disaster recovery, systems development methodologies etc.
  • Passion for analytics and technology enablement (automation, AI/ML etc.).
  • Passion for evaluating, summarizing, organizing, and interpreting data.
  • Passion for establishing and cultivating business relationships and a professional network, including with senior executives.
  • Passion for successfully pursuing business development opportunities and identifying and implementing strategies to obtain new work or clientele.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the energy and utilities industry.
  • Ability to translate and communicate technology topics and audit issues to client personnel, including executives.
  • Leadership and direct supervisory experience of teams including conducting performance appraisals, mentoring and coaching, oversight and review of work, coordination across teams, and understanding how to motivate.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, RPA Solutions, and other Analytics tools strongly preferred.
  • Professional Certification such as CIA, CRMA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or similar strongly preferred.
  • Experience working across different teaming models, including offshore resources, is a plus.
