About The Position

This role is an entry-level position for recent college graduates at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and real-world impact, focusing on protecting people and businesses globally. The Technology Associate Program (TAP) offers participants the chance to build expertise in one of three disciplines: Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Cybersecurity Engineering. The program aims to develop well-rounded technology professionals by enhancing business acumen, leadership skills, and professional networks. It includes hands-on technical training, a business acumen curriculum covering IT professional development and the insurance industry, executive and cross-functional networking opportunities, a peer community, and innovation challenges like Hackathons that utilize emerging technologies such as AI and machine learning.

Requirements

• Foundational knowledge of software development principles (data structures, algorithms) (Software Engineer).
• Experience coding in one or more languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#) through coursework, projects, or internships (Software Engineer).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) (Software Engineer).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) (Software Engineer).
• Experience with agile/scrum development methodologies (Software Engineer).
• Interest in or coursework related to AI, machine learning, or automation (Software Engineer).
• Foundational knowledge of databases and SQL (Data Engineer).

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions for the company (Software Engineer).
• Understanding data requirements and becoming a data platform expert in designing and building data solutions focused on Cloud-based Big Data ecosystems (Data Engineer).
• Working closely with other data science teams and taking ownership of projects to deliver high-quality data-driven advanced analytics applications (Data Engineer).
• Solving diverse business problems by utilizing a variety of different tools, strategies, algorithms, and programming languages (Data Engineer).
• Improving compliance and security posture by leveraging technical and business skills (Cybersecurity Engineer).
• Troubleshooting complex problems with an engineering mindset (Cybersecurity Engineer).
• Gaining hands-on experience in assisting with the support of Chubb’s Global security function (Cybersecurity Engineer).
