About The Position

The Technology Associate will report to the Director of IT and support in implementing systems network-wide. The tech associate will be responsible for responding to the needs of our school community and providing quality customer service. This role will also work closely with our operations teams at each campus to troubleshoot technical issues as they arise. The core responsibilities of the Technology Associate role at Neighborhood Charter Schools include: Daily Operations Support the day-to-day operations across all NCS technology Primary contact for setup and troubleshooting A/V equipment throughout the organization Answering staff and/or family ticket inquiries and providing quality customer service Flexibility to travel between school locations

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Director of IT to guide and support vendors with network-wide projects
  • Assists the Director of IT and vendors in maintaining end users’ equipment (including Windows PCs, Mac/IOS devices, Chromebooks, printers, Promethean boards, etc.)
  • Interacts with internal and external personnel regarding hardware, software, e-mail, and networks
  • Ensure devices are up to date with the latest software, and troubleshoot devices if interruptions arise in the daily operations of the device
  • Assists the Senior Technology Manager with processing feedback from other departments to create a plan for future purchases and upgrades to the school environment
  • Assists theDirector of IT with communicating with vendors on developing the NCS IT environment
  • Other relevant duties as assigned.
