Technology Architecture Manager
About The Position
The Technology Architecture Manager at Accenture LLP is responsible for designing, implementing, and/or supporting world-class information technology architecture for Accenture or its clients. This role spans simple IT projects to large-scale, enterprise-level change programs. Key aspects include conducting architecture assessments, defining solutions for complex problems, and designing, building, delivering, and running the required architecture across development, operations, execution, data, and application domains. The manager acts as the technical conscience, ensuring solutions meet performance, scalability, flexibility, operations, and capability needs. They adhere to strategic direction, act independently on new assignments, make team-level decisions, ensure technology standards are followed and evolve, and provide architecture quality assurance reviews for proposals and ongoing engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field
- 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry
- 5 years of experience in Architecting and delivering full-lifecycle software projects
- 5 years of experience in Designing, building, configuring, and testing applications to meet business process and application requirements
- 5 years of experience in Leading analysis and design teams
- 5 years of experience in Utilizing Agile or Waterfall methodologies to create value across projects of multiple scopes and scale
- 5 years of experience in Coordinating technical deployments and fixing defects
- 5 years of experience in Working with remote delivery teams
- 5 years of experience in Coordinating with client product owners to understand business requirements, develop technical designs, and review deliverables
- 5 years of experience in Working as a subject matter expert for Angular frontend development to handle team queries
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and/or support world-class information technology architecture for Accenture or our clients, spanning simple IT projects to large-scale, enterprise-level change programs
- Conduct architecture assessments and define solutions for complex problems that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
- Design, build, deliver, and run the engagement, platform, and/or product's required architecture (i.e. development, operations, execution, data, and application)
- Provide the work’s technical conscience by defining and driving the right solution to meet the technical performance, scalability, flexibility, operations, and capability needs
- Adhere to strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near-term goals
- Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments and make decisions that will be implemented by the team
- Design and ensure that technology standards are followed and evolve over time
- Provide architecture quality assurance reviews for proposals and ongoing engagements
- Lead analysis and design teams
