About The Position

The Intern will use the knowledge gained through coursework to perform various tasks in support of the Technology and Innovation Division of Eocene Environmental Group. The Intern will learn to apply skills they have acquired through coursework in a professional setting. The Intern will gain a better understanding of the function the Technology and Innovation Division plays in the industry and be better equipped to work in this area. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Junior or Senior-level college student in good academic standing, or recent college graduate
  • Career interest in the assigned department(s), or in the environmental services or vegetation management industries
  • Ability to work with a team of cross-functional experts in multiple locations
  • A collaborative, motivated attitude
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products utilizing the latest operating system.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service focusing on rapport-building, listening, questioning and patience.
  • Communicates effectively with all levels of employees, both technical and non-technical.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Technology and Innovation Division on various projects.
  • Collaborate with other teams to complete tasks and develop solutions.
  • Receive extensive exposure to various environmental services and vegetation management roles within a professional setting.
  • Participate in process improvement and automation projects as needed.
  • Learn the technology of the Technology and Innovation Division.
  • Network with various teams within the company.
  • Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright’s culture of safety and employee ownership.
  • Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings.
