About The Position

The Technology Analyst role at PCL Constructors Inc. is responsible for managing Microsoft Azure, M365, Intune, and Entra ID, ensuring alignment with best practices, security and compliance standards, and overall platform health. This role involves designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting networking solutions, and applying strong knowledge of server infrastructure and networking to design, troubleshoot, and improve cloud-integrated solutions across Azure, M365, and hybrid environments. The analyst will analyze complex technical issues, evaluate options and impacts, and recommend practical solutions aligned with business and platform standards. They will also apply and enforce established security controls and access policies, identify and leverage cloud technologies to solve business and technical challenges, and stay up-to-date with Microsoft Cloud services and emerging technologies. Advanced performance analysis, troubleshooting, and architecture design for cloud, network, and hybrid infrastructure are key aspects of this role, as is supporting, monitoring, and troubleshooting integrated solutions. The analyst will also remediate escalations and act as a technical lead on large or complex projects.

Requirements

  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in computer technology, network technology, or a related discipline.
  • At least 6 years of progressive experience in a related field.
  • Understanding of modern cybersecurity frameworks and their application in enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure, including wireless, firewalls, switching, BGP and OSPF routing, VPN, and SD-WAN.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure networking and SASE architectures, including site-to-site VPN connectivity, secure web gateways, and zero-trust network access.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions across cloud and core infrastructure domains, including networking, identity, and hybrid environments.
  • Proven experience in delivering cloud and network infrastructure projects, including implementing new technologies and solutions.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a proven ability to manage competing demands and consistently prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and work within constraints while maintaining a high standard of work.
  • Passionate about challenges and problem-solving, with a strong desire to learn and adopt new technologies and solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling the clear and concise conveyance of complex ideas and technical material to various audiences.

  • Perform advanced performance analysis and troubleshooting, and design architectures that improve the performance, availability, and resilience of cloud, network, and hybrid infrastructure.
  • Support, monitor, troubleshoot, and improve integrated solutions to ensure reliable and efficient system operation.
  • Remediate escalations from customers, vendors, and other internal technology teams.
  • Act as technical lead on large or complex projects implementing new services.
