About The Position

Ensures the City’s IT environment aligns with industry best practices. Maintains inventory, reviews configurations, and provides recommendations to the City’s IT Director. The role requires maintaining current documentation of the City’s IT environment, reviewing configurations for best-practice alignment, and providing clear recommendations and findings.

Requirements

• Must maintain current documentation of the City’s IT environment
• Must review configurations for best-practice alignment
• Must provide clear recommendations and findings
• 3–5 years of IT systems documentation or standards alignment experience
• Experience with best-practice configuration reviews and inventory management

Nice To Haves

• ITIL certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory of all managed systems
• Review configurations for compliance with vendor and industry standards
• Identify end-of-life equipment
• Provide quarterly alignment reports
• Recommend improvements with estimated costs
• Support strategic planning through data analysis
