About The Position

JLL is seeking a Technology Advisor to lead and/or support Enterprise accounts business development and pursuit teams. This role involves bringing JLL's technologies to clients to differentiate at the point of sale and supporting transition teams in client implementation. The Technology Advisor will act as a subject matter expert in technology and data products, presenting customized solutions, gathering client feedback, and informing product positioning and marketing. This is a player-coach role requiring leadership and direct support for business development and pursuits. The individual must be comfortable presenting to high-level decision-makers, demonstrating technology applications, and collaborating with various internal teams including pursuit teams, function partners, sales enablement, delivery, and product management. Professionalism, organization, motivation, and a drive to succeed in a dynamic sales environment are essential.

Requirements

  • Subject Matter Expertise in the business domains of the assigned business line is REQUIRED.
  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is REQUIRED.
  • 10+ years of relevant/professional experience is REQUIRED.
  • Past success in sales or client-facing role is REQUIRED.
  • Past success in building high-performance technical sales or sales enablement teams is REQUIRED.
  • Simplifies complex information and clearly articulates ideas.
  • Strong industry knowledge and a desire to learn more about commercial real estate technology.
  • Strong business growth mindset that can translate client requests to make impactful recommendations that meet client needs, tell a story that eloquently translates data.
  • Ability to think creatively, sell consultatively, proactively problem-solve, and efficiently communicate internally and externally.
  • Passion for digital strategy and growing within the sales organization.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline, and detail-oriented environment.
  • Excellent dexterity in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working within a CRM system.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Support pitches and RFP pursuits.
  • Present JLL’s technologies, communicate product roadmaps, and demonstrate value propositions during the sales process.
  • Demonstrate and teach best practices for preparing and delivering demonstrations of JLLT’s products, focusing on data, storytelling, and research.
  • Assist in the development of RFP responses and/or pitch content, including technical responses, discovery questions, solution design, example deliverables, system graphics, presentations, and/or pricing.
  • Maintain knowledge of the competitive Proptech landscape through research and industry events.
  • Initiate relationships and build trust with clients to establish JLLT as a trusted advisor and partner.
  • Meet with key stakeholders to collect client feedback on JLL’s solutions and document findings.
  • Measure and benchmark success metrics.
  • Use data to improve the performance of a team of Technology Sales Advisors.
  • Generate reports and communicate progress towards goals to key stakeholders.
  • Create and execute a professional development plan for a team of Technology Sales Advisors, covering presentation skills, buyer personas, executive communication, and client relationship building.
  • Contribute to Marketing and Sales Enablement Strategies and sales campaigns with JLL and JLLT’s Marketing Teams.
  • Understand commercial real estate fundamentals, including supply and demand data, and use economic, demographic, and other inputs to align technology with buyer needs.
  • Identify opportunities in Markets Clients to engage the JLLT Sales team.
  • Train and onboard new Technology Sales Advisors.
  • Create standards, guidelines, methodologies, and document processes and governance protocols within the team.
