About The Position

THIS IS A CT/X-RAY TECH NEED - TRAVELER MUST HAVE HIGH PROFICIENCY IN BOTH SPECIALTIES. LOCAL TRAVELERS (those who reside within 50 miles of facility) WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED. To avoid delays in processing, please provide perm address at profile upload. Positions patient on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices as needed to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by Physician. Must be capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures. Moves radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment into specified position and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance. Operates film processing equipment. Operates mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in operating room emergency room or at patient's bedside. Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff. Ability to prioritize and organize daily work flow. Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills. Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD/DURING INTERVIEW WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better). Travelers may not take all holidays off. MUST work TWO blocks (if scheduled/needed): Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after New Year Eve through New Year Day and weekend after.

Requirements

THIS IS A CT/X-RAY TECH NEED - TRAVELER MUST HAVE HIGH PROFICIENCY IN BOTH SPECIALTIES
2+ years current CT Tech experience in a hospital setting
2+ years current XRay Tech experience in hospital setting
MUST be proficient/highly experience with the following; Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portables, & OR c-arm
MUST have experience with ALL ages groups
NH MIRT TEMP EASILY OBTAINED WITH EQUIVALENT STATE LICENSE FOR CT/XRay
Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
Perm address of traveler must be included in profile
Any/All RTO must be included in profile.
ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION.
New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License [REQUIRED]
Active American Heart Association BLS - [REQUIRED]
Active American Registration of Radiologic Technologists ARRT - [REQUIRED]
