About The Position

This technical role within Campbell’s Product Data Management (PDM) group supports finished-product commercialization and quality initiatives by translating product documents and managing formulation information as it moves from product development to manufacturing. The position establishes and documents technical standards for product formulation management to support successful scale-up and manufacture. It also maintains technical documentation in systems such as Optiva Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and SharePoint, collaborating with subject matter experts in Product Development, Packaging, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain. Projects are of low to moderate complexity and technical risk. The role primarily builds formulas, procedures, and specifications in Optiva PLM so products can be manufactured according to specifications and integrated with SAP and RMS plant-floor systems. It manages product documentation for commercialization timelines, tracks key performance indicators, communicates formulation-update status, and manages temporary or emergency product changes. The technologist also mentors new Product Development technologists on Optiva, maintains work and metrics trackers, and may train external teams on PDM processes. The position requires adapting to change and ambiguity, identifying critical-path items and risks, and communicating concerns to business teams and management.
