Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Technical Associate Degree or Journeyman Certification.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality laboratory.
  • Material property testing and analyzing knowledge.
  • Experience with general power tools safety, usage and maintenance.
  • Experience with data entry.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with lab’s high precision equipment, such as microscopes.
  • Ability to solve problems and finish tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to improve existing procedures.
  • Continuous improvement approach and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine lab procedures to test the conformity and quality of materials, (semi-) finished parts, products or returned products, at all stages of the supply chain process.
  • Perform a wide range of quality analyses, according to given specification and procedures, relate to metrology, phys. and chem. testing, returned parts/warranty analysis.
  • Report on stated failures and take or initiate appropriate actions.
  • Document results of test procedures in the systems and support interpretation together with superior.
  • Carry out calibration and maintain functionality of laboratory tools and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during testing procedures.
