Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution AND a minimum of four (4) years of analytical chemistry experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • OR Bachelor's Degree or higher in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline AND two (2) years of analytical chemistry experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Two (2) years of experience analyzing product samples against NSF/ANSI Drinking Water Treatment Unit standards.
  • Experience executing NSF/ANSI Standard 53 Pathogenic Cyst Reduction testing.
  • Experience developing, validating, and applying fluorescence microscopy and particle counting methodologies.
  • Experience supporting the development, repair, and qualification of laboratory test equipment.
  • Willingness to work staggered shifts, as needed, to support laboratory coverage requirements.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience authoring technical documents, including protocols, qualifications, and test methods.
  • Experience using analytical instrumentation such as GC-MS and ICP-MS.
  • Experience developing and validating analytical test methods.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple or complex assignments.
  • Experience mentoring junior laboratory personnel and promoting good laboratory practices.

Responsibilities

  • Performing laboratory testing to support critical business projects and initiatives.
  • Executing laboratory qualifications and method validations to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
  • Supporting multiple business functions through analytical testing and technical expertise.
  • Coordinating laboratory requests, equipment calibrations, and onsite service activities.
  • Preparing standards, solutions, and technical documentation to support laboratory operations and compliance requirements.
  • Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
