Under the supervision of the Manager and Breast Radiologist, a successful applicant will utilize independent judgment and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of breast procedures, anatomy, and physiology. Be responsible for the variety of breast imaging examinations for the purpose of assisting in a patient’s medical diagnosis or screening for cancer. This role involves performing mammography procedures, preparing patients, selecting and operating equipment, and applying principles of radiation protection. The position also includes departmental support duties such as participating in staff meetings, maintaining positive work relationships, keeping the work area orderly and clean, maintaining confidentiality, and managing supplies. The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $32.65-$52.00, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
