About The Position

The Technologist I works closely with the Information Systems (IS) Department, to support the organization’s data, technology, and cybersecurity operations. This role provides technical assistance across Analytics, Application Support, IT, and Clinical Systems, helping ensure reliability, efficiency, and performance of enterprise systems.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Informatics, Information Technology, Information Systems or related fields; Bachelors preferred.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Basic coding skills and knowledge of warehousing data cleansing and transformation techniques.
• Awareness of and sensitivity to the issues and health disparities faced by underserved populations is essential.

Responsibilities

• Works with the Chief Information & Inclusion Officer (CIIO) and Sr Director of IS to mitigate Cybersecurity risks.
• Works with CIIO to prepare reporting to Board, Corporate Compliance Committee, and other cybersecurity stakeholders.
• Communicates regularly with Information Systems staff and other end-users regarding discovered issues and/or concerns as well as potential improvements to current systems and processes.
• Supports enterprise data operations, including basic maintenance, data validation, and data flow performance monitoring with senior guidance.
• Provides troubleshooting support for applications, systems, and end users, escalating issues as appropriate.
