About The Position

MAJOR FUNCTION: To produce computed tomographic images of designated anatomical regions as ordered by a licensed physician or provider, following established protocols and procedures. This role is responsible for performing high-quality CT imaging using advanced diagnostic equipment, ensuring accurate cross-sectional images for interpretation while prioritizing patient safety, comfort, and adherence to radiation protection standards, including ALARA principles.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
New Jersey DEP license required
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT required
CT certification required or attained within 6 months of hire
AHA BLS required
IV certification required within 90 days of hire
