Responsibilities

• Serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team and is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered technologist.
• Perform technologist care skills that have been delegated by the supervising technologist.
• Escorts/transports patients to/from nursing units and diagnostic areas safely with respect for confidentiality as assigned.
• Correctly identifies patients, recognizes their limitations and obtains additional information and assistance as needed.
• Assist MRI technologist in walking patients in and out of the MRI suite, assist with changing patients into gowns, stocking rooms, and other tasks to assist with workflow.
