About The Position

Join a financial technology team in Plano, Texas, as the Techno Functional Test Lead. As the Single Point of Contact for testing deliverables across multiple Lines of Business, this role leads cloud implementation testing and promotes the use of Gen-AI automation practices. The position oversees test engineers, end-to-end testing, quality strategies, and coordination among business units, vendors, and internal technology teams.

Requirements

10–15 years of IT experience in the banking sector, with a strong focus on QA leadership.
Hands-on expertise in test automation with Selenium.
Ability to manage and mentor test teams and deliver projects on schedule.
Deep knowledge of cloud project testing, data migration, and reporting validation.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and QA best practices.
Strong stakeholder management and executive reporting capabilities.

Nice To Haves

Experience leveraging Gen-AI tools, such as GitHub Copilot, for automation.
Familiarity with Jenkins, cloud platforms, and large-scale data reconciliation.
Experience managing vendor resources and multi-vendor QA environments.

Responsibilities

Serve as the Single Point of Contact for testing deliverables, coordinating execution across business units.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of up to 15 test engineers, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
Design, implement, and enforce test strategies, plans, and schedules aligned with project timelines and quality objectives.
Promote zero-defect delivery through testing practices, CI/CD integration, and proactive issue resolution.
Use Gen-AI concepts and automation tools to enhance test automation.
Own end-to-end testing for cloud implementation projects, including integration with upstream and downstream systems and reporting solutions.
Oversee test data preparation, validation, and reconciliation for core banking applications.
Manage defect triage and resolution with development, functional, and business teams.
Coordinate test readiness and deployment with Release and Environment teams.
Work with strategic partners, implementation vendors, and internal IT to resolve escalations and validate upgrades.
Present executive dashboards and status reports to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Manage vendor resources and lead QA and engineering initiatives.
Promote innovation, reusable assets, and knowledge sharing across QA teams.
