About The Position

This is a full-time role for a Television Production Technician. The role involves aspects of both camerawork and directing. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and thrives on challenges and unexpected situations. They should be personable, connect with local stakeholders, and be passionate about television. Strong communication skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and flexibility are essential. A positive and optimistic attitude is also valued.

Requirements

• DEC in Media Arts and Technology or Communications or a related field
• Two (2) years of relevant experience related to the responsibilities
• Possession of a driver's license and may be required to use their car
• Constant concern to produce programs focused on the interests of viewers and the community
• Listening to their surroundings to seize opportunities for program projects

Responsibilities

• Directing
• Filming

• Ensuring the technical quality of productions up to the export of realized documents for broadcast
• Occasionally transmitting knowledge by training employees, volunteers, and interns (animation and technical), and providing them with the necessary support for the smooth running of the production
• Collaborating on research and writing of texts for animation, narration, analysis, reporting, or interviews
• Handling cameras, lighting, audio capture equipment, and Adobe Premiere editing systems
• Synthesizing writing
• Operating graphic design software
• Audio production

• Transport and installation of equipment
